Mazury Cabaret Night 2026 — this Friday all of Mrągowo is laughing
The 27th Mazury Cabaret Night (Mazurska Noc Kabaretowa) takes place on Friday, 10 July 2026 at 7:30 PM in the amphitheatre by Lake Czos in Mrągowo. That's roughly four hours of live cabaret, and if you don't have a ticket — TVP2 broadcasts it from around 8:05 PM (and it's later available on TVP VOD too). We don't sell tickets here; they're with external vendors.
The event is two days away, so if you're thinking about a quick trip to Mrągowo — now's the moment. Quick rundown below: what kind of evening this is, who's playing, and how to fit it in if you happen to be on a Masuria charter.
So what is it, exactly?
Mazury Cabaret Night is one of the biggest cabaret evenings in Poland. For one night, Mrągowo becomes the capital of laughter. They've been doing it for 27 years, the amphitheatre by Lake Czos is packed to the seams, and the rest of the country watches on TV. The format is simple: several cabaret acts one after another, a few hours long, with hosts running the whole thing. No fuss — you show up and you laugh.
The Czos amphitheatre is the same stage where the Country Picnic plays in late July (24-25.07). The venue is iconic, water behind the stage, and in the evening it gets a real atmosphere. Worth arriving a bit early, because the entrance and car parks tend to clog up.
Who's performing in 2026
The lineup is strong as ever — a mix of old-hand stage veterans and younger crews:
| Performer | Known for |
|---|---|
| Marcin Daniec | a classic of the Polish cabaret scene |
| Jerzy Kryszak | parodies and monologues |
| Ani Mru Mru | duo, an ironclad headliner |
| Andrzej Grabowski | Ferdek Kiepski in the flesh |
| Katarzyna Pakosińska | cabaret and hosting |
| Kabaret Chyba, Kabaret Małżeński, Kabaret Zachodni | stage crews |
| Trzecia Strona Medalu, Czwarta Fala, Poparzeni Kawą Trzy | the younger wave |
The list is long, the above is a selection. The running order is set by the organisers, so there may be a surprise on the night.
Tickets — we don't have them
Let's be straight about it: NaCzarter does not sell tickets to Cabaret Night. Passes are with external vendors and on the event's official website. You'll find details, prices and availability at mazurskanockabaretowa.pl and on the Mazury Cabaret Night Facebook page. If tickets are sold out or you'd rather watch from the couch — switch on TVP2 on Friday evening.
And how do you combine it with a charter?
Here we have to be honest, because it's easy to trip up. Lake Czos in Mrągowo does NOT lie on the navigable route of the Great Masurian Lakes. The Dajna river connects Czos only to small, local lakelets — not to the main route. In short: you won't reach the amphitheatre by charter sailboat from Tałty or from Śniardwy. Anyone promising you "moor right by the stage" is mistaken.
That said, Mrągowo makes a great land trip from a charter base. The closest is from Mikołajki — Lake Tałty, about 20-25 km by road. By car, minibus or bike you'll easily get there for the evening and be back on the boat. If you're only just planning a week on the water, take a look at our yacht fleet or at last-minute charter in Masuria — and where to moor along the way is covered by our guide to Masuria's ports and marinas.
You can paddle around Czos itself in a kayak or a small boat, but that's a completely different story than cruising the main route. For the cabaret, treat Mrągowo as a town to visit from land — and that's it.
