For a weekend getaway from Giżycko, the 2014 Twister 26 fits perfectly: quick to rig, easy to sail and undemanding on crew, yet it will sleep eight if needed (berths 4+4, one enclosed cabin). Dimensions of 7.8 × 2.7 m and 34 m² of sail are a recipe for agile sailing on the surrounding lakes; the 5 hp engine covers ports and calms. Thanks to the lifting ballast fin the draft drops from 1.5 m to 0.4 m — overnighting in a shallow bay is no problem.
