Twister 26

A power reserve comes in handy: this 2016 Twister 26 has a 10 hp engine, so entering a crowded port in a crosswind or covering a longer canal stretch stops being a lottery. The rest is the well-known recipe — eight berths (4+4) and one enclosed cabin. Under sail the yacht carries 34 m² of canvas on a 7.8 × 2.7 m hull and moves briskly even in lighter wind. The lifting ballast fin gives a draft from 0.4 to 1.5 m — you can treat the shallows as an invitation, not an obstacle. The main drops into lazy jacks; the galley has a gas stove, kettle and dishes. The yacht is stationed at Port Royal in Giżycko. Optional skipper; pets welcome.
