Futura 860

The Futura 860 from 2014 is a handy houseboat for up to 7 people — a good choice if you want to try life on the water without renting a big boat. The sleeping places are arranged in a 6+1 layout, and the whole thing is driven without a licence. The hull is 8.6 m long and 3.2 m wide — compact enough that harbour manoeuvres cause no stress, especially with a bow thruster helping and a depth sounder watching the depth. The 21 hp engine with a 70-litre tank keeps a calm, economical pace. On board: heating, a TV and a bimini; the galley has a gas stove, a built-in fridge and dishes, the cockpit a table and the bathroom a sea toilet. The boat waits at Port Royal in Giżycko. Pets are not allowed on board.
