Futura 900

A crew of seven, three enclosed cabins and a dog welcome aboard — this Futura 900 from 2016 is a houseboat tailored to family trips with a four-legged companion. The berths are arranged in a 6+1 layout, so everyone has a place to sleep, and shared evenings happen at the cockpit table. Nine metres of length and a 3.3 m beam handle surprisingly easily: a 29 hp engine is enough, with a bow thruster for manoeuvres and a depth sounder watching the depth. The 100-litre fuel tank lets you cruise for days without refuelling. On board: heating, a TV and a bimini; the galley has a gas stove, a built-in fridge and dishes, and the bathroom a sea toilet. The houseboat is driven without a licence, optionally also with a skipper. Home port: Port Royal in Giżycko.
