How much does a night in a Masurian harbour cost in the 2026 season?

In the 2026 season a yacht of about 10 m pays per night in a Masurian harbour from 25–30 PLN (Camping Bystry, depending on the time of the season) to 150 PLN per boat, and with a hull wider than 3 m, 160–200 PLN in some places; the median of the 22 price lists included in the calculation is 110 PLN. Most harbours add a per-person fee: 10–30 PLN per night for each crew member, electricity is either included in the berth fee or costs 10–30 PLN, and a shower is usually 10–20 PLN for 4–8 minutes, paid with a token or coins. All rates come from the official harbour price lists collected on 21.08.2026; three harbours have their latest price list from 2025 and are marked with an asterisk.

All 34 harbours in one table: amounts in zlotys per night per boat, sorted in ascending order by the price for a yacht of approx. 10 m. In three harbours with a 3 m width threshold (Stranda, Gołębiewski, Pod Dębem) the position in the table is decided by the upper end of the range; OW Wodnik (3.40 m width limit) and Klub Mila Kamień (33-foot threshold) are listed at their base rate, because a typical 10-metre yacht fits within their limits.

* The 2025 price list is the latest one published by the harbour; rates may have changed. ** Rate from a website that has not been updated for years, to be confirmed by phone. "Undated" means a price list without a year of validity; "n/a" means no data in the official source. We checked the content of all price lists and the status of the harbours without a price list on 21.08.2026.

How we calculated

The table brings together 34 harbours and marinas of the Great Masurian Lakes; we also checked places that did not make it into the table because they do not exist under the name known from guidebooks or have left no official trace (including "Marina Bystry", the Karwica/Pelagia harbour and the landings on Lake Inulec). We used only official sources: price lists on harbour websites (including PDFs and graphics), the municipal Public Information Bulletins (BIP) for local taxes and the announcement of the Minister of Infrastructure for locks. We visited all sources on 21.08.2026. We did not copy a single rate from aggregators. If a price list has no date, the table says "undated"; three harbours (ZHP Węgorzewo, Ognisty Ptak, Ekomarina Ryn) have their latest price list from 2025 and got an asterisk. Where the threshold depends on hull width, we give a range, because a 10 m yacht can be 2.99 m or 3.5 m wide. We update this table every season at the same address.

Median, spread and the bill for the whole crew

The median night for a yacht of approx. 10 m is 110 PLN. 23 harbours publish a rate for this length; we took 22 into the calculation, leaving out Letni Ogród, whose price list needs to be confirmed by phone. For width thresholds we used the rate for a hull up to 3 m, and for Camping Bystry the high season. The two middle values of the list arranged this way are 100 and 120 PLN, hence the median of 110 PLN. The convention here differs from the table: the sorting shows the worst case (wide hull, upper end of the range), the median the typical one (hull up to 3 m); that is why Gołębiewski sits near the bottom of the table, although it enters the median as 100 PLN. If you counted by the upper ends of the ranges, the median would rise to 120 PLN.

The spread is fivefold: from 30 PLN (Camping Bystry in high season; 25 PLN off-peak) to 150 PLN (AZS COSA Wilkasy, Korektywa), i.e. 400% more. A wide hull can push the rate up to 200 PLN (Gołębiewski for widths over 3 m).

The rate per yacht is only half the story, though. We calculated a full night for a crew of 6: a berth for a 10 m yacht, the per-person fee, electricity and 6 showers.

  • Łabędzi Ostrów (Kisajno): 40 PLN + 6 × 20 PLN + electricity included + 6 × 15 PLN = 250 PLN
  • AZS COSA Wilkasy (Niegocin): 150 PLN with electricity + 0 PLN per person + 6 × 15 PLN = 240 PLN
  • Wioska Żeglarska Mikołajki: 100 PLN + 0 PLN per person + electricity 25 PLN + 6 × 18 PLN = 233 PLN

The conclusion: of these three, the harbour that is cheapest per boat came out the most expensive in the bill, because the result is decided by per-person fees and showers, not by the headline rate in the price list. With a full crew the order can be turned completely upside down: Korektywa in Piaski, the most expensive per boat in the comparison (150 PLN), still costs 150 PLN with a 6-person crew, because it charges nothing per person and has electricity and showers included. Camping Bystry, the cheapest per boat, comes to 198 PLN in high season on the same calculation (30 PLN + 6 × 18 PLN + electricity in the package + 6 × 10 PLN for showers). Six nights at the prices of the three harbours we costed come to approx. 1400–1500 PLN for the whole crew, which is worth having in the cruise budget alongside the charter; when planning, look through the available yachts and dates. And if you are comparing Masuria with the Adriatic, we have also costed Masuria or Croatia: the cost of a week.

Region by region

Giżycko: Niegocin and Kisajno

The Giżycko area has the widest range on the whole route: from 25–30 PLN at the Camping Bystry landing to 150 PLN per night with electricity at AZS COSA Wilkasy (price list valid from 6.04.2026 to 4.04.2027). Ekomarina Giżycko charges 140 PLN for a 9–12 m yacht, but its price list does not mention electricity or water at all, so do not assume they are included. On Kisajno, Port Łabędzi Ostrów at Piękna Góra has the lowest rate per boat: 40 PLN for a stay over 3 hours (the first 3 hours are free), but it adds 20 PLN for each person. Port Sailor, which also operates at Piękna Góra, was not verified for this comparison. Stranda charges by hull width: 130 PLN up to 3 m, 160 PLN above; yachts chartered from this harbour get the first and last night free and the others at half price. Port Royal on Tracz Bay charges 120 PLN per night (19:00–12:00) regardless of length; the price list has no per-person fee for visiting guests, and customers chartering from this harbour pay 12 PLN per person per night instead of the berth rate. A fair caveat: portroyal.pl is a storefront run by NaCzarter, so we have the rates first-hand from the harbour master, but in the comparison we treat the harbour the same as any other. Port Bogaczewo on Lake Boczne does not publish a price list online: you will find out the rates from the harbour master or at reception (as of 21.08.2026). Prices are one thing, standards another; which harbours are worth visiting regardless of the rate, we describe in our overview of the best harbours and marinas in Masuria.

Mikołajki and Śniardwy

Wioska Żeglarska Mikołajki (the Sailing Village) has a simple rate of 100 PLN per night with no length thresholds, but all utilities are paid separately: electricity 25 PLN, water 5 PLN per 50 l, a shower 18 PLN for 4 minutes. The town quay and other jetties in Mikołajki were not verified in this comparison. The Hotel Gołębiewski marina on Lake Tałty charges by width: 100 PLN per night up to 3 m, 200 PLN above, with no word on utility prices and no date on the price list. On Śniardwy, Niedźwiedzi Róg charges 140 PLN for a yacht over 9 m plus 10 PLN per person and includes the full set: electricity, water, showers and Wi-Fi. On Bełdany, Klub Mila Kamień charges 80 PLN up to 33 feet plus 20 PLN per person (restaurant guests can stay up to 3 hours free on showing a receipt), and Korektywa in Piaski 150 PLN with no per-person fee, with electricity, water and waste disposal included. Wierzba PAN, Popielno, Marina Śniardwy in Nowe Guty and Okartowo do not publish price lists: prices from the harbour master, as of 21.08.2026.

Węgorzewo and the north: Mamry, Święcajty

The big harbours of the north charge less per boat than comparable marinas in Giżycko and Mikołajki (Ekomarina Węgorzewo 80 PLN and Nowy Sztynort 90 PLN against 140 PLN at Ekomarina Giżycko and 100 PLN at the Sailing Village), but they add the highest per-person fees on the route: 25–30 PLN. Ekomarina Węgorzewo (run by the Węgorzewianka Social Cooperative; not to be confused with Ekomarina Giżycko) charges in 2026 60 PLN up to 29 feet and 80 PLN above, plus 25 PLN per person, with electricity, water and unlimited showers included. Nowy Sztynort: 60 PLN for an 8 m yacht, 90 PLN from 30 feet, houseboats and electric yachts up to 30 feet 120 PLN, plus 30 PLN per person, everything included, Wi-Fi too. Kietlice on Mamry has a flat 50 PLN for every yacht regardless of length plus 25 PLN per person; the price list for the 2026 season is published, and the only technical note is that your browser may show a certificate warning when you open the harbour's website. Port Keja in Węgorzewo charges 120 PLN for a 30–33 ft yacht plus 10 PLN per person for the toilets; the price list is silent on electricity. Port ZHP Węgorzewo only has its 2025 season price list online (90/120/180 PLN plus 10 PLN per person), and Ognisty Ptak on Lake Święcajty also 2025 (130 PLN up to 10 m, 150 PLN above, plus 15 PLN per person, with a shower token included in that fee). According to aggregators, Port Trygort is closed, but there is no official source.

Ryn, Ruciane-Nida and Lake Nidzkie

Ekomarina Ryn charges 60 PLN per night for every boat plus 15 PLN per person, and once the night is paid, electricity, water and waste water disposal are free; the catch is that the latest published price list dates from April 2025. On Guzianka, the U Faryja harbour charges 70 PLN up to and including 8 m (a yacht of exactly 8 m falls into the lower threshold) and 100 PLN above, with no per-person fee. On Lake Nidzkie, OW Wodnik charges 60 PLN for a yacht up to 10 m and up to 3.40 m wide plus 20 PLN per person, and Pod Dębem 120 PLN up to 3 m wide and 180 PLN above, plus 10 PLN per person; a berth at a Y-boom costs 15% more there. Letni Ogród in Wygryny lists 300 PLN per night on its website, but the site has not been updated for years (footer 2009–2015), so this rate has to be confirmed by phone. Marina Ryn, Mazuryn, Sośnica and Przystań Mazury in Krzyże have no price lists online, and the Ruciane-Nida municipality is only now building a large municipal marina for 135–150 boats (an investment of approx. 34.6 million PLN), so far without a price list.

Charges common to the whole route: locks, local tax, waterway for 0 PLN

Sailing on the Great Masurian Lakes waterway itself costs nothing: the Polish Waters price list for 2026 provides only lock fees for recreational yachts. A lock (Guzianka I and II, Karwik, Przerwanki) costs 10.90 PLN by day (7:00–19:00) and 22.00 PLN at night, per boat; the rate is identical at all locks, and you can also buy the ticket online. Then there is the local (climate) tax, collected by accommodation providers in some municipalities: Ryn 2.70 PLN, Miłki 3.00 PLN, the town of Giżycko 3.30 PLN, the rural municipality of Giżycko 3.40 PLN, Węgorzewo 3.40 PLN, Mikołajki 3.46 PLN per person per night (all confirmed for 2026). Ruciane-Nida (2.30 PLN) and Pisz (2.00 PLN) publish rates on BIP pages from years ago, without confirmation for 2026, and Orzysz has no local tax at all in its list of charges for 2026. This is a municipal levy added on top of harbour fees; do not confuse it with the "per-person fee" that the harbour charges for itself. You can refuel on the water at five seasonal Orlen stations (Giżycko, Mikołajki, Sztynort, Węgorzewo, Ryn), usually from 8:00 to 20:00; they do not publish fuel prices. And if you choose a wild bay instead of a harbour, first check who owns the shore of a Masurian lake.

What the price lists do not tell you

  • The per-person fee changes the ranking. The big marinas of the north fall below the median per boat (Ekomarina Węgorzewo 80 PLN, Nowy Sztynort 90 PLN), but add the highest per-person fees on the route: 25–30 PLN. With a crew of 6, the bill in Sztynort rises by 180 PLN for the crew alone.
  • Thresholds are counted in different ways. Some harbours measure length in metres, some in feet (Keja, ZHP, Klub Mila, Sztynort), and three harbours look only at hull width (Stranda, Gołębiewski, Pod Dębem). The same 10 m yacht can fall into a threshold that is 30–100 PLN cheaper or more expensive.
  • Showers almost everywhere run on tokens or coins, with a time limit: from 10 PLN for 4 minutes (Ekomarina Ryn, 2025 price list) to 20 PLN for 7 minutes (U Faryja); Łabędzi Ostrów gives 6+2 minutes for 15 PLN. Only Ekomarina Węgorzewo and Nowy Sztynort state "unlimited" explicitly (in Kietlice unlimited, but only from 6–11 and 18–23); Niedźwiedzi Róg includes showers without a specified limit, Pod Dębem includes one shower per person, and Ognisty Ptak a token in the per-person fee.
  • Electricity comes in three models: included in the night, a flat fee, or a separate connection charge (Kietlice 30 PLN per night, the Sailing Village 25 PLN). Ekomarina Giżycko and Port Keja do not mention electricity in their price lists at all, so do not assume it is included.
  • Only Camping Bystry publishes a high/low season split (25 PLN + 14 PLN per person in low season, 30 PLN + 18 PLN in high season). Port Royal has a price list for the 15.04–15.10 season, AZS Wilkasy an annual price list valid until 4.04.2027.
  • The harbour day ends at different times: 12:00 (Wodnik, Ekomarina Ryn), 13:00 (Ekomarina Węgorzewo, ZHP), 14:00 (Kietlice); Port Royal charges the night 19:00–12:00 and a daytime stay separately.
  • Three price lists in circulation are 2025 versions (ZHP Węgorzewo, Ognisty Ptak, Ekomarina Ryn); the 2026 rates may have changed. As many as 11 harbours have no date on their price list, and another 11 do not publish one at all.
  • In July and August the choice of harbour is decided more often by a free berth than by price. Where you can realistically find a place at a quay when the route is full, we describe separately: where to moor in peak season.
