Twister 36

The Twister 36 from 2014 is a big sailing yacht with an unusual underwater body: fixed hydrofoils keep the draft within a mere 0.6-0.8 m on a hull 11.2 m long and 4 m wide. Eight people sleep in three enclosed cabins and the saloon (6+2 layout). The mast carries 60 sq m of sails with a lazy jack, while in port and in a calm the 29 hp engine with an 80-litre tank does the work; a bow thruster and depth sounder complete the picture. The equipment list includes heating, Wi-Fi, TV and a microwave next to the built-in fridge and gas stove; add a kettle, dishes, a cockpit table, an outdoor shower and a sea toilet. Base: the Stranda watersports base in Giżycko, Masuria. Cruise optionally with a skipper; pets welcome.
